Local Central Heating Ltd was founded in early 2016 by Tom Bellinger, following 13 years working for British Gas as a heating installation engineer. Based in Rayleigh, Essex, Local Central Heating cover most of the Essex postcodes including SS, CM and RM.

I decided to create my own company as I wanted to offer unrivalled, local high quality customer service and central heating solutions.

I trained to be a heating engineer at the British Gas Academy. During my time with British Gas, I was a heating engineer first and foremost, however my role evolved into becoming a lead engineer for Essex. This was due to the recognition that I was able to build a positive rapport with customers as well as being able to problem solve and carry out technical solutions to existing central heating and plumbing problems.

Since starting the business, we have continued to contract for British Gas in addition to undertaking my own work.

Local Central Heating Ltd is an approved accredited installer for Worcester Bosch and Ideal heating. This means we are able to provide a longer warranty than standard.
